Beata Szydło: We want an EU of equal opportunities, justice and toleranceMay 19, 2019
Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło took part in the PiS convention in Krakow along with PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Beata Szydło said, "we want a European Union of equal opportunities, justice, and tolerance. We want it to be a union that guarantees security." "We are Europeans and we are proud of it. But above all, it is our duty to defend Polish interests." She expressed her hope that the union will be based on the fundamental values which have been the basis of European nations, and which are now under threat.
Szydło continued, "we will defend your interest, we will talk about the things that affect you, we will manage Poland’s development, and we will develop the economy to implement ambitious, common social programs."
When asked about the effects of Bill 447, Szydło underlined that "we will never agree that Poland pays any liabilities or claims". She added that this is both the Government’s position and that of Law and Justice.
