Law and Justice’s five new pledges

February 23, 2019
The leaders of Law and Justice and members of the government presented their new manifesto at Saturday’s part conference.
These are:
  • extending the Family 500+ program to include every first child from July 1 this year,
  • liquidating personal income tax for employees up to the age of 26,
  • reducing the costs of employment,
  • granting an additional PLN 1,100 to each pensioner annually starting this year, and
  • restoring bus lines across the country.
In her speech, Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło stressed that thanks to the Family 500+ program, Poland has become a leader for modern pro-family policy. She added that this program has restored dignity to Polish families, has opened new opportunities for children, and has become an integral part of the Polish economy. Beata Szydło pointed out that the billions of zlotys that go to Polish families every year are being used in line with purpose for the program. “Thanks to the 500+ program, many families could go on and enjoy a holiday with their children for the first time” – emphasized the deputy prime minister.
